Microsoft Lumia 535 now “Coming Soon” on Irish Microsoft store. by @jimboireland #Lumia535

Microsoft Lumia 535 now “Coming Soon” on Irish Microsoft store. by @jimboireland #Lumia535

The Lumia 535,first handset from Microsoft is now sitting in the Irish Micrsoft store slated as COMING SOON..Now with past history that word does not exactly tell us much and in some cases its never arrived,in fact there is still items on the store thats never seen any retailer here in Ireland so hopefully this will change in future and lessons have been learned of past occurences when Nokia was at the helm..

Coming packed with premium features, the Lumia 535  sports a coulourful design, easy readability in sunlight on a large five-inch display and a quad-core processor for a smooth smartphone experience. And if the built-in 8 GB of internal storage and 15 GB of free OneDrive storage isn’t enough, bulk up to an additional 128 GB by adding a microSD card.

The 535 is now starting to roll out and Sim Free prices so far from what we have seen is pretty good starting at around €115 which is pretty good..

The Nokia N1 goes up for pre-order on Expansys #NokiaN1 #Tablet by @jimboireland

The recently announed Android tablet from Nokia the Nokia N1 has now appeared on Expansys Ireland up for pre-order,with slim info and no pricing though, this will be good to know that it gives people the choice to purchase the tablet as it unknown exactly when it will hit our little country that seems to miss out on some good tech via retail..And normally leaves us to having to import many products.Yes you remember the Lumia 2520..

Expansys have often jumped the gun wit products an pre-orders before but it is worth noting that is here and something to keep an eye on over the coming weeks. The also have both colors listed too which again gives us some choice of the new Android tablet..

The app you want before you want it

Nokia N1 comes with Nokia Z Launcher, the home screen that makes things simple. Just scribble a letter to find what you’re looking for – instantly. Plus, it adapts to where you are and what you’re doing to bring you the right app, right when you need it.

Neat and clever

Powered by a 64-bit Intel® quad-core processor, Nokia N1 is smart and fast. And it has the looks to match – a one-piece aluminum body, sandblasted for a satin finish.

Every detail matters

From the zero air-gap display to its perfect balance, everything has been crafted for thinness and lightness.
Comes with a 7.9” laminated display, plus Micro-USB 2.0 with a Type-C reversible connector.

Easy as ABC

Simply scribble a letter or two with your finger and Nokia Z Launcher brings up the things you want to know, do, and discover.

Nokia shocks the world by launcing a tablet, say hello to the Nokia N1 by @jimboireland #NokiaN1

Nokia shocks the world by launcing a tablet, say hello to the Nokia N1 by @jimboireland #NokiaN1

As we knew prior to todays announcement Nokia had something going on and today we all found out what it was, there was plenty of guesses and some got it right and some got it wrong,it was all about a Black box,but what was inside the box was the thing that had everyone curious until today.

Having let the dust settle although i had a good inkling my thoughts of what the media and public would say was like this is going to be interesting, very interesting and looking over many comments and forums and social media this has certainly caused a stir, even for some of the well know people in the industry and some suprising comments from not so suprising people and vice versa.

Another thing has been said as regards to a tablet, there’s enough, it’s an ipad with Android sure if it had similar aesthetic looks to something else it would be called whatever then too, it’s a tablet folks get over it blame who you like, the price is good, there is plenty of tablets out there yes, more rubbish ones than good ones this is not rubbish.

It seems to me some people have been hurt in a funny kind of way way, dissing the device straight away we do not need to go into who said what or point the finger anywhere most of us in the industry have probably seen or examined the said comments, one word that keeps arising is FOXCONN but what people miss and forget to mention there is plenty of other devices made by them and its ok for them devices to embrace the planet but not for Nokia well fo those to comment without balance they are the hurt ones, showing their true nature and ignoring all that has went on in the past and how MS has conducted business with Nokia and it staff over the last few months,The age old argument still continues,Nokia brought WP to where it is,Nokia made WP popular and sales rise, what has MS done since the takeover, now why dont you all settle down and think about this before slating a new prodcut bearing the Nokia LOGO,its a new direction for Nokia no different than some companies will make or have had to make in the last couple of years so move along now and just let technology take its cycle..Business is business though tough times for all, good and bad… There is wounds that will never heal and some will..

Lets just leave these two images here for now and you decide for yourself, these are 2  tweets i sen today and thats it..

And no other device is made or assembled by Foxconn, hmmmm ohhh what have i missed..

Quite a valid point there John..

Before we look a the N1 just to clarify,Yes i use Windows Phone and Yes i also use Android, with here maps and Zlauncher.. take from that what you like..

So now also what we see today is saying this is the new ipad running Android,The iPad is nice no doubt about it saying its copied is a bit strecthed but people are entitled to their opinion and in the tech sector its what you are going to get ,rough with smooth and so on..

Onto the specs then.

Nokia ready to show off something new tomorrow, what could it be ? #Nokia @jimboireland #Slush14

Nokia have been teasing us the past while and its almost time for the world to find out exactly what they are playing at,its very interesting as to what people think NOKIA have in store for the world to see tomorrow your guess is as good as mine but its certainly not a phone.

Some people have said TV,Streaming ,A mini PC and more,we do not have to wait long now and the speculations continue, whatever is in that Black Box is surely going to be interesting..

More tomorrow then folks, and on another note we will be sticking around after all……..
